Survey Junkie promises that you’ll make extra cash, would you trade your time?
If you’ve been looking for some ways to make money online, then most likely you have come across Survey Junkie.
And of course, you’ve most likely Googled, “Is Survey Junkie Legit?” already. I can’t blame you because just by the name itself, it almost sounded like a scam.
I know because I thought the same way too when I came across Survey Junkie for the first time.
However, I did not let the name deter me from knowing more about it. This post will tell you what you need to know to make sure you will not miss out on the benefits or waste your time trying it.
SURVEY JUNKIE BACKGROUND
Survey Junkie has been around for a long time but was launched back in 2013. They were used to be known Active Measure and then Blue Media Ventures.
DISQO, the online market research company, owns Survey Junkie. The name change happened in 2018. And since then, Survey Junkie has gained popularity and now has over 10 million users.
HOW SURVEY JUNKIE WORKS
Survey Junkie is a free platform where people share their perspectives with market researchers, thereby helping improve the products they use. It is available in the US, Canada, and Australia.
As the name implies, you will make money by completing surveys. When you sign up, you will create a profile and answer questions about yourself and your household. Survey Junkie will use the information to select surveys that will fit you.
Surveys will be available to you when you sign in to your account, and you will also receive them in your email.
Every time you complete a survey, you will earn points. Before you take a survey, you will see how many points you will collect and how long will it take you to finish it.
Once you accumulated the minimum payout, which is $10 or 10,000 points, you will have the option to redeem it through cash via Paypal or gift card, like Starbucks or Amazon.
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH SURVEY JUNKIE
I wouldn’t have earned the right to write a review for Survey Junkie if I had not tried it myself.
When I signed up for Survey Junkie, it was pretty fast. I just provided my email address, zip code, date of birth, gender, and then a password. In less than 10 mins, I was starting to earn points.
What I liked about the signup process besides the fast method is that they also have a starter checklist that you can complete and earn points.
- Signing up – 25 points
- Complete profile – 50 points
- Confirm email – 25 points
- Take a “How it Works” tour – 5 points
- Profile surveys – 10 points each, usually a dozen or so questions about a subject
After completing the signup process, I already accumulated 155 points. Not bad. I also started seeing available surveys that I can complete. The nice thing about the surveys is that they show the number of points you will make and how long will it take you to complete.
Therefore, if I know I am pressed with time, I can complete the shorter ones.
When I started taking surveys, I found that although the survey is available in my account, I still don’t qualify for all of them. I end up getting kicked out, but I still get points for trying.
I also started getting an email notification from Survey Junkie, telling me that there is a new survey available for me in my account. I found that if I do not log in right away, I will lose my chance.
When I met the minimum payout, which was $10, I opted for Paypal cash. The process was surprisingly fast, and I got to enjoy my money right away.
IS SURVEY JUNKIE LEGIT?
Absolutely YES. Survey Junkie actually has an A+ rating from Better Business Bureau. They deliver what they promise, and they have been around for a long time.
Is Survey Junkie a legit site? Yes, it is. I was able to try it myself and got my payout without any problem. Of course, you will not make a ton of money from it, but Survey Junkie will definitely pay you for your time.
